Easthampster is a commercial blog providing free content to the East Hampton community. The public wants: (1) access to the methods of communication and volumes of information now available on the Internet, and (2) access at a cost they can afford and in such a way that they are not socially, economically, or politically isolated. Our goal is to provide the community with a social, educational, entertaining, atmosphere for worldwide communication.

1. Create an online community based upon the geographic borders of the Town of East Hampton
2. Provide internet-based marketing opportunities for small businesses within the town.
3. Provide citizens an opportunity to contribute valuable information to the group in the expectation that one will receive useful help and information in return
4. Provide citizens an opportunity to provide timely information about their community, ie school closing, current events and construction projects and road closures
5. Additionally, the site will build goodwill, trust, and loyalty.

The mission of Easthampster is building and expanding the East Hampton community online by encouraging free communication, discussion, expressing and sharing of views, ideas, knowledge, creativity and experiences, in a spirit of freedom and cooperation and using the most of the internet technology available to make the process most effective and richer.
To create an open space for expressions of various ideas and views from various directions giving everyone a fair chance to speak out, challenge the thought and have their thoughts challenged.
Easthampster will provide internet visibility to small businesses and organizations to both locals and visitors. We provide a low cost alternative to traditional media.
Easthampster is a limited liability company with internet based, computer technology based experience of 15 years. The company was formed to take advantage of perceived weaknesses and inadequacies of other regional advertising and local marketing mediums in terms of immediacy, cost and availability. Our goal is to establish an interactive electronic community for the town of East Hampton, its government, businesses, civic organizations and recreation, building a community hub through goodwill, trust and loyalty.
